Operator Services Terminating

Telstra Wholesale’s operator services give direct access to emergency 000 and 1223 domestic directory assistance calls. 

Our customers don’t need to develop their own network arrangements for these services.

Our operator services provide:

  • carriage of emergency calls from a point of interconnect to the Telstra Emergency Calls Service, and access to use the service;
  • carriage of voice telephone calls from the point of interconnect to the Telstra Directory Assistance Service and access to use the service.

Telstra Wholesale’s Operator Services are available to carriers and carriage service providers who offer a standard telephone service on their own network and are seeking an effective way of meeting their customers’ needs. This product also suits providers with obligations set down in ministerial and legislative determinations, and industry codes developed by Communications Alliance, formerly the Australian Communications Industry Forum (ACIF).
