Telstra’s GSM network covers 96 per cent of the Australian population and GSM mobile coverage can be extended internationally through our roaming services. Our GSM Postpaid Resale service will roam in more than 145 countries.
GSM Postpaid Resale gives our customers the flexibility to create their own packaging, pricing and marketing to launch their mobile offer on the market.
We provide a range of value-added mobile services including:
- voicemail;
- SMS;
- circuit switched data;
- call hold, call waiting, call diversion, call barring and call number display;
information services such as PocketNews.

- All service activation and management can be undertaken directly using our web-based LinxOnline Mobile (LOLM) service or our integrated business-to-business interface LinxOnline Interaction Gateway (LOLIG).
- Bundling a mobile postpaid product with other wholesale products creates a full telecommunications product suite for a customer to market.
- Customised SIM cards stimulate brand recognition in the marketplace.
We offer enhancements to GSM Postpaid Resale, including our wireless packet data service (GPRS) (PDF, 244kb) and Premium SMS (PDF, 126kb).
GPRS enables the transmission and reception of data on GSM network handsets. This gives access to mobile data applications such as multimedia messaging (MMS) at up to four times the speed of mobile circuit-switched data.
Premium SMS gives mobile customers and their customers the ability to access and download items such as ringtones, wallpapers and competition entry using their GSM Postpaid Resale mobile service.
Reseller customers have access to our secure mobile resources
